If you’ve been around Sun Valley Lake for any amount of time, you know one thing—we don’t sit still very long. There’s always something happening… boats going by, projects getting done, or someone deciding at 8:30pm it’s the perfect time to start a “quick” project that somehow turns into an all-night situation.

Well… this is me starting something new! And I am beyond excited about it!

Big news — Jessica Brown Real Estate is now proudly part of Arrowhead Realty Company.

This wasn’t a decision I took lightly. It wasn’t quick, and it definitely wasn’t overnight. It was one of those “sit on the deck, stare at the water, and really think about it” kind of decisions. You know… the kind where you tell yourself you’re relaxing, but really you’re solving life’s biggest decisions while watching boats go by and pretending you’re not overthinking everything.

Arrowhead Realty pulled me in for a reason. The energy, the ideas, the motivation—it’s the kind of environment that actually gets things moving. And let’s be honest… when you see a marketing package that makes you stop mid-scroll and say, “okay, this is next level,” you don’t ignore that—you lean in.

This past Saturday, I attended a training seminar at the main office in Shenandoah and met all the agents and the rockstars behind the marketing. And I’m not just saying this—it confirmed everything for me. The energy, creativity, and support within this group are on a completely different level… and that’s exactly the kind of team I want behind me (and behind your listing).

So what does this mean for you?

Better marketing. More exposure. Stronger results.
(And no, not just “we listed it and hoped for the best” marketing.)

I now have access to tools that simply weren’t available before—professional marketing packages, virtual tours, and listing strategies that actually make people stop and look. I’m also now active on two MLS systems: West Central (as always) and the Des Moines Area MLS, which means your property isn’t just sitting quietly—it’s getting in front of a much bigger audience.

More eyes on your property.
More reach.
More opportunity.
(Which is kind of the whole point, right?)

But here’s the most important part… I didn’t change who I am.

I’m still the same person you’ll see driving around the lake, checking on listings, talking to neighbors, or probably hauling something I definitely shouldn’t be hauling by myself… and convincing myself it’ll be fine. Same work ethic. Same attention to detail. Same “I’ll just handle it” mentality.

Just better tools behind me now—so I can do what I’ve always done… just on a bigger, better level.

And if you know me, you know I’m not very good at sitting still.

So I’m adding something new—weekly blogs.

Some weeks might be real estate tips.
Some might be lake life stories.
Some might be about my family, my businesses… or whatever chaos is happening that week.

Will they always be perfectly polished? Probably not.
Will they be real? Absolutely.
Will I overshare occasionally? Also yes.

Either way, I’m glad you’re here.

So if nothing else, stick around for the ride.

Because around here… there’s always something going on!

Jessica Brown
