Long Weeks, Big Goals, & Passing on the First Try

Getting into Real Estate was a big decision- but one I was fully ready to take on. The process started with a 60-hour real estate course that ran from March 6th to March 23rd. Every Friday from 1-5 PM, and full days Saturday and Sunday from 8-5, I was in class soaking up as much information as I could.
And trust me—there was a lot to learn.
We covered everything from contracts and licensing law to financing, property management, and fair housing. It was intense, but I loved the challenge. The fast-paced weekends, the real-world examples, and getting a solid foundation in the industry all helped make the long hours worth it.
And then came the big test day.
On April 8th, I took both my State and National real estate licensing exams—and I’m proud to say I passed both on the first try!
It was a wild mix of nerves, red bull, and last-minute review videos, but all that time and effort paid off. Thankful I got so much hands on knowledge from Lea and Tony prior to taking my test. I’m officially on my way, and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s next in my real estate journey.
Then came three more focused courses: Buying Practices, Listing Practices, and Developing Professionalism and Ethics. These classes ran from April 3rd to April 19th, following a similar schedule—Fridays 1–5 PM and Saturdays 8–5 PM. They were deep dives into the core of what real estate agents do every day, and they really helped me feel more confident and prepared for the next step.
For anyone considering real estate- yes, it's a challenge, but the payoff makes every step worth it!
